The House of Roland Bru controls the entire production process, from the grape production to the final bottling, to guarantee the quality of its cognac with the utmost rigor.

The land of Charente produces what is considered the best eau-de-vie in the world: cognac. At the heart of the Cognac region, in the hamlet of Moisans lays the House of Roland Bru and its vineyards.

Cognac comes from a very specific sector which is precisely defined out by law. There are 80,000 hectares divided into 6 crus or growth areas: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois, and Bois Ordinaires. Only the eau-de-vie of the first four of these crus are used in the Roland Bru cognacs. These are considered to be the most apt at producing quality eau-de-vie.

Today, the House of Roland Bru owns and manages directly 20 hectares of vineyards in the Grande Champagne area, and 40 hectares in the Fins Bois area, to control the quality of its products starting from the selection of the grapes. Using the fruits of its own vineyard, Roland Bru’s family also works in association with a number of vine-growers throughout the region, some of whom have supplied Roland Bru for several decades.
